I'm Mary Auclair, and I write spicy romance where the heroes have claws, fangs, or tentacles, and they're still better at communicating than most men on dating apps.

I grew up in a tiny village in rural Quebec, daydreaming about grand adventures. Now I write exactly the books I love to read: sassy heroines who are too much for their own good, grumpy monster heroes who would burn down the world for them but can't smile without physical pain, and enough spice to make you check over your shoulder before reading in public.

When I'm not writing, I'm a full-time mom, a chocolate dependent, and staff to several dogs and one judgmental cat who steals their bed without remorse.

Every grumpy monster deserves a heroine who refuses to be scared of him. I just write it down.
